Class Descriptions

The Petite Tot Division is designed for your youngest dancers and is a caregiver and me class where an enchanting bond is inevitable. Children as early as 18 months can benefit from a very early introduction to ballet all the while exploring their creative potential of both body and mind. This class treats our youngest dancers to movement, creativity and exploration of the mind/body connection in the most whimsical way possible. Class is 45 minutes. 

Petite Tot Division | $75 per month

The Children's Division is designed to embrace a more independent child while teaching them the fundamentals of classical ballet. Still maintaining the magic and whimsy of our storybook approach, this division introduces more structure while embracing and protecting their beautiful imaginations. Class is 45 minutes.  *At this location there is no formal lobby, so please know that we will encourage you to drop-off your student and wait outside in order to ensure they can particiapte fully without parent distraction! There are windows you can peek in from the outside!

Petite Pas Ballet Downingtown/Exton!

Welcome to Petite Pas Downingtown/Exton!

In 2020 Ms. Valerie and her family (Sidney, Maddie, age 16 and Reece, age 12) moved to Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Since her arrival in PA she has been heavily involved with SALT Performing Arts teaching dance and doing choreography for various productions, while also running her studio back in Wisconsin.

She knew she wanted to bring the magic and joy that Petite Pas Ballet has brought to students in Wisconsin for over 8 years to her new community. She is most grateful to SALT Performing Arts for providing a space for her to take “petite pas” (tiny steps) towards her dream of opening her own location in the area (hopefully) in the very near future. In February 2022, we offered a few classes and they quickly filled up with amazing little students. We are almost fully sold out for the 23|24 Academic Year already! 

Our studio in West Chester grew so quickly and we knew that we wanted to expand to the Downingtown/Exton area. Due to a beautiful relationship with Crystal Murphy Music, she has opened up her studio space to allow us to test the market!  

We are starting with small offerings and if the demand is there, we hope to continue to add more and more!  
We can't wait to twirl through the Downingtown/Exton communities too!
